(LEESVILLE, IN) - One woman was killed Wednesday evening on Leesville Road in Lawrence County.
Initial police reports indicate that 62-year-old Rhea Hayes was traveling on Leesville Road when her vehicle ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected and hit a tree.
Police say that Hayes was pinned in the vehicle and had to be freed using the jaws of life.
The fatal wreck remains under investigation.
