Linton Businessman Dies During Afternoon Bike Ride

(LINTON, IN) - An afternoon bike ride led to the death of a Linton businessman Sunday.

49-year-old Mark Angell, president of Angell's Food Center, Inc., died at Greene County General Hospital after collapsing during a bicycle ride near the Greene County Fairgrounds.

Officials say that Angell was training for the Habitat for Humanity's 8th Annual Cover Indiana Bicycle Tour Ride scheduled for Thursday.

Fellow riders administered CPR at the site until ambulance crews arrived at the scene.

Angell later died at the hospital.
