Last updated on Thursday, May 12, 2011

(BEDFORD, IN) - Lawrence County Commissioners made the decision Tuesday morning to seek financial aid to cover the damage of recent flooding.

Valerie Luchauer, Emergency Management Director, says she's been very busy the past two weeks and believes that the county's damage from wind and flooding is $195,000.

Luchauer feels the county has a good chance as getting disaster relief.
