(MITCHELL, IN) - The Indiana Court Of Appeals has agreed that former Mitchell Police Officer Steve Blair should be reinstated to the Mitchell Police force with back pay.
The court agreed that the newly created Mitchell Police Merit Commission, not the board of public works and safety, had jurisdiction in the matter.
Blair was originally 'let go' from the force after secretly recording a conversation involving Mitchell Mayor Dan Terrell.
