Columbus City Officials To Build New Airport Tower

(COLUMBUS, IN) - Columbus city officials hope a site study will expedite plans for a new air traffic control tower at the Columbus Regional Airport.

The city council directed the local aviation board to spend $100,000 dollars to determine the best location for a new tower.

Officials hope the action will encourage the Federal Aviation Administration to out their project towards the top of the list.
