Shooting Suspect Being Held On $100,000 Bond

(MARTINSVILLE, IN) - The Martinsville teen accused in last month’s middle school shooting is being held on $100,000 bond.

15-year-old Michael Phelps stood for his initial hearing on attempted murder charges in a Morgan County Court.

The youth was waived to be tried as an adult last week. Phelps is accused of shooting Chance Jackson at Martinsville West Middle School on March 25th.
