Police Investigating School Death Threat

Last updated on Friday, April 8, 2011

(MARTINSVILLE, IN) - Martinsville Police are investigating two possible death threats involving students at Martinsville East Middle School Thursday.

School officials say one case involved a death threat written in a bathroom stall and the other involved two students who told teachers that another student had been threatened.

This all happened while Martinsville Middle School West was on lockdown for a short time.

Martinsville West Middle School was on lockdown following a report of a student who didn't belong in the building.

That incident however turned out to be a case of mistaken identity.
