(BEDFORD, IN) - Lawrence County authorities were called to the scene of a domestic dispute on Peerless Road Monday night.
According to a press release from the Lawrence County Sherriff's Department, officers received a phone call that consisted of a woman screaming and then hanging up.
After further investigation into the incident, police were able to determine that George Haynes had battered someone at the residence.
Haynes was later found inside a truck at the residence.
We the man began to drive away, officers fired shots into the vehicle's tires.
The man was charged with domestic battery, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, O.W.I refusal, intimidation, disorderly conduct, resisting by force and resisting by fleeing.
