(UNDATED) - The falling rain is moving out of Indiana, replaced with colder temperatures ahead of the weekend.
The flooding threat remains. Joseph Nield with the National Weather Service says southwestern Indiana remains under the threat of flooding for another couple weeks, even if dryer conditions prevail.
Nield says when the earth gets several inches of rain in several says, it takes a week or two of dry weather for the waters to recede.
School was canceled this morning as a result of flooding in the town of Orleans.
A flood warning remains in effect today.
