(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - An active meth lab was discovered Monday evening in a Bloomington apartment closet.
31-year-old Mandy Dawn Gerkin and 27-year-old Matthew Ross of Heltonville are now facing several drug related charges after officers received a tip about a chemical odor.
Police say that two teens and one child were also present during the arrests.
When officers arrived at the South Rockport Road apartment they reported they could smell the fumes associated with the manufacture of meth.
