(UNDATED) - With the income tax return deadline looming, many people may be still be looking for a tax preparer.
Better Business Bureau of Indiana President Bill Thomas says establishments that market themselves as "instant refund" services are actually loan centers that come with fees and other expenses.
Thomas says if a mistake is made or something happens and the IRS determines your refund is less than what you received, you are still responsible for the balance of the loan.
Thomas says the "instant refund" services are okay if you know what the expectations are up front.
