Salvation Army Warning Of Japanese Relief Effort Scam

Last updated on Friday, March 18, 2011

(UNDATED) - Salvation Army Indiana is warning residents of an email scam claiming to collect Japanese Relief Donations in their name.

The bogus email originates from "Salvation Army National Corp" in the United Kingdom and asks for a minimum donation of $100 dollars and a lot of personal information.

Spoksamn Jeff Stanger says there is no such organization or address associated with the actual Salvation Army.
