(BEDFORD, IN) - A 19-year-old Bedford North Lawrence High School student was arrested Thursday for striking a female teacher and damaging a water fountain.
19-year-old Cazz Eicle is being charged with battery and criminal mischief.
School officials say the incident happened during a study hall in the school cafeteria.
One of the adults supervising the study hall, Hillary Whitaker asked him to comply with the rules which resulted in the student becoming very angry and violent.
After elbowing the teacher, Eicle left the room and damaged a hallway water fountain.
