(MITCHELL, IN) - Police say that three people were injured in a two-vehicle car wreck on Monday.

Mitchell Police officials say that 19-year-old Tonya L. Feathers suffered head injuries and was flown by helicopter to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment.

Feathers was traveling on Highway 37 when she attempted to turn onto Highway 60 West, pulling into the path of 30-year-old Ryan Hardesty.

Hardesty suffered cuts to his hand and face.

Feathers was cited for operating a vehicle without proof of financial responsibility.
