Teen Charged With False Reporting Rape

(VERNON, IN) - A Jennings County teen was charged Friday with false informing police after telling authorities she had been raped.

Police say that "on January 31st, a 15-year-old female reported she had been the victim of a rape that occurred two or three years earlier."

The girl is now facing a charge of false informing.
