(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - A Bloomington teen is in stable condition after his SUV rolled down an embankment on Highway 46 and Highway 37 Wednesday morning, bursting into flames.

The teen sustained "superficial" burns in the accident.

The 16-year-old driver was driving his Hyundai Sante Fe onto the southbound side of the four-lane highway about 9:00AM Wednesday when he lost control and went off the road.

Witnesses of the accident say the teen walked away from the SUV, then collapse at the edge of the road.
