(BEDFORD, IN) - The new Ruler Foods will open on today. Officials say the grocery store will open at 9:00AM on 16th Street in the former JayC Food Store location on the east side of the city.
The new store's format is the newest addition to the Ruler chain.
Grand opening festivities are planned for March 3rd and 4th.
Paul Bowen, president of JayC Food Stores says Ruler Food Stores concentrate on providing everyday low prices, and will carry many of the Kroger brand items which are currently available in JayC stores.
Other Ruler Foods stores are located in Mitchell and Salem.
