(BEDFORD, IN) - One driver was injured after his SUV collided with a North Lawrence Community Schools bus Monday afternoon.
Police say the wreck occurred on Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue.
George Goodin with the North Lawrence Transportation Department says that no students were on the bus at the time of the wreck.
50-year-old Penny S. Perry was driving the bus east on Fifth Street while 42-year-old Brian S. Bex was driving on Lincoln Avenue.
Bex later told police he thought he had the green light and proceeded into the intersection.
Bex was given a ticket for the collision.
