Three People Escape Burning Car Uninjured

(BROWNSTOWN, IN) - Jackson County Police were called to the scene of a car fire on Monday.

When officers arrived, the vehicle, a 1994 Nissan, was engulfed in flames.

Tina Underwood, the driver of the car told police she and her two passengers were traveling westbound on U.S. 50 when they noticed a burning smell and an orange glow.

All three were able to escape the vehicle without injury.
