(BLOOMFIELD, IN) - Officers in Greene County were investigating a fatal traffic accident shortly before 11:00PM on Tuesday.
34-year-old Coralee M. VanPelt was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on Indiana 54 near County Road 800 East.
32-year-old Jeannie J. Stephens, who was also in the vehicle, was taken to Bloomington Hospital.
The accident remains under investigation by Greene County police.
