(UNDATED) - New data shows Americans spent more on clothes, shoes, luxury goods and electronics in December than a year earlier.
Hoosier retailers report similar results. Grant Monahan with the Indiana Retail Association says merchants saw "much better than expected" traffic during the holidays.
