Last updated on Monday, January 10, 2011

(NORTH VERNON, IN) - Officers with Jennings County Sheriff’s Office investigating a methamphetamine-related case were able to uncover a 1,000 gallon anhydrous ammonia tank sitting near a residence.

Investigators determined that the tank had been stolen the night before in Bartholomew County, along with a Chevrolet truck that was possibly used to pull the tank to the location.

Police say the tank had been covered with a large tarp when officers found it during their investigation.

The investigation is currently ongoing.
