(SCOTTSBURG, IN) - An 18-day-old boy died from a closed head injury at a Louisville hospital Wednesday afternoon.
According to a press release from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg, the investigation into the death of Gaven Henderson remains open with no further information available for release as of Thursday.
An autopsy performed by the Kentucky Medical Examiner's Office revealed the cause of death.
Police say Henderson's mother found him unresponsive Tuesday evening and called 911.
He was taken to Scott Memorial Hospital and then transferred to Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville.
