Last updated on Friday, December 3, 2010

(BEDFORD, IN) - A Jackson County man was arrested at a county hotel early yesterday morning; accused of dealing drugs.

Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig says that police received a tip that 40-year-old David W. Hill was at a hotel in the county and was wanted on a warrant out of Brown County for probation violation.

While officers served the warrant, they noticed "items of suspicion" and obtained a search warrant.

The search led to the discovery of three grams of methamphetamine and prescription drugs including Adderall, Lortabs and OxyContin.

Hill was booked into the Lawrence County Jail.
