(NORTH VERNON, IN) - A Salem man has been arrested for child molesting.
Police say 40-year-old Timothy N. Root is facing one count of child molesting in Jennings County.
Indiana State Police say their investigation began in September after Jennings County Child Protective Services contacted state police with allegations of possible sexual abuse to two boys, ages 4 and 5.
The alleged molestation is believed to have occurred sometime between June and August of 2009, when Root was baby-sitting for a family friend.
