Linton Man Arrested After Telling Police He Was A "Gangster"

(LINTON, IN) - A Linton man has been arrested for possession of marijuana.

Officers at frist became suspicious of 31-year-old Darryl Wayne Moore after the man informed the officers that he was "being a gangster."

Moore, wound up in the Greene County Jail on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and marijuana.

Authorities were on patrol when they spotted Moore walking on the street, carrying a container in each hand.

The man said that he had been at a residence where he had been drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana when an argument occurred and he grabbed the containers and left.

Officers say the containers mostly contained makeup but also contained drugs.
