Jail Inmate Facing More Charges For Setting Fire To Cell

(BLOOMFIELD, IN) - A Greene County Jail inmate, who told police his cell block was cold and wanted a fire is now faces a felony charge of arson, after he reportedly attempted to start a fire on toilet paper in the jail.

21-year-old Darrell J. May was convicted for theft.

Police say that the fire was started on a bed frame, charring portions of the bed, walls and ceiling, and melted paint around a window frame.
