Bloomington Woman Dies In Wreck

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - A Bloomington woman was killed during a two car collision Highway 37 at the Sample Road intersection, just north of Bloomington.

Police say that 77-year-old Delta F. Oakley was westbound on Sample Road approaching 37 when, for unknown reasons, Oakley failed to yield to an oncoming van, driven by 27-year-old Leticia Salazar.

Oakley and her passenger, 54-year-old Delta L. Robinson were taken to Bloomington Hospital where Oakley was pronounced dead.

Delta Robinson was not injured.

Salazar and her passenger, 2-year-old Alexa Aparacio were treated for their non-life threatening injuries.
