Vacancies To Be Filled Withing Police Merit Commission

(MITCHELL, IN) - All vacancies within the controversial Mitchell Police Merit Commission could be filled by the end of the day Monday.

The five-member commission, formed this spring has since dwindled to two members.

At 3:00PM today, the city's police officers are to fill one of their two appointments to the board with Mayor Dan Terrell to appoint Jim Woods and Doug Kesterson to be his representatives.
