(MICHELL, IN) - Congressman Elect Todd Rokita has officially announced his congressional transition team, and has included Mitchell Mayor Dan Terrell.
Terrell will join other district leaders in helping Rokita prepare for his run in office.
According to a statement released by Rokita's office, he states that "the team we have assembled for this important initiative brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and leadership to the process."
In a statement to WBIW News, Mayor Terrell said he was "honored to be a part of this team".
Rokita will officially take office on January 5th, 2011.
