(UNDATED) - It’s election day across the country. Polls in Indiana are open from 6:00AM to 6:00PM.
The nation is watching Indiana closely, with Senator Evan Bayh's seat up for grabs between Republican Dan Coats and Democrat Brad Ellsworth.
Also up for grabs are several congressional spots.
The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles is extending the hours of operation today to issue state identification cards and driver's licenses that may be used at polling places on election day.
