(NOBLESVILLE, IN) - Hundreds gathered in Noblesville Monday night for a memorial service for Andrew Compton.

The 18-year-old Carmel native disappeared earlier this month from the Sullivan University Campus in Louisville, KY.

Police called off a search in a Jackson County landfill for the missing teen's body last week.

Gregory O'Bryan, who allegedly met Compton online, told police he put Compton's body in a dumpster.

O'Bryan has a pre-trial hearing Thursday.
