(MITCHELL, IN) - A synthetic marijuana, known as "K-2" or "Spice" will most likely be outlawed within the city of Mitchell.

During a council meeting on Monday, council members learned about the easy availability of the supposedly dangerous substance.

Mayor Dan Terrell introduced an ordinance that would enact the ban.

Council rules prevented the members from voting on the ordinance.

The council is now expected to vote on the ban on Thursday at 7:00PM.
