(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - A young Bloomington girl was left hospitalized Sunday evening following a violent argument along Yancy Lane.
Police say that someone called to report seeing a man dragging a girl by her throat into a house.
When officers arrived at the location, they discovered the 13-year-old with a bloody mouth, bruises on her forehead and complaints of pain to her ribs.
45-year-old Robert A. Dike was arrested on preliminary charges of battery and strangulation.
