(JUDAH, IN) - Three people were injured in a Wednesday afternoon crash on Highway 37 at Ingram Road.
Police say 35-year-old Randall L. Cain pulled the Mack dump truck he was driving from Ingram Lane onto Highway 37 and was trying to get up to speed when he was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Carrie J. Smith.
Smith says she had briefly taken her eyes from the road and when she returned them saw the truck, but was unable to avoid the collision.
Two young passengers in the Smith vehicle, ages 2 and 3 were also injured.
