Military Humvees Collide Leaving Several Injured

Last updated on Tuesday, October 19, 2010

(MITCHELL, IN) - Four people suffered injuries in a crash on U.S. 50 late last week.

Police say that a military convoy of Humvees was traveling to Camp Atterbury when the crash occurred.

21-year-old Logan C. Gehlhausen slowed to a stop because there were two other military Humvees broken down.

The Humvee behind Gehlhausen was unable to get stopped in enough time, causing the Humvee to rear-end his vehicle.

Gehlhausen, as well as 28-year-old Josh Channault, 25-year-old Matt Chandler and Chris Ruppell all of Jasper were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
