(LOOGOOTEE, IN) - A Martin County man was injured Saturday morning after falling asleep at the wheel on U.S. 231, driving off the roadway and over an embankment.
47-year-old Freddie D. Hurt was transported by ambulance to Loogootee Fire Station and then airlifted to a Louisville hospital following the wreck.
No other injuries were reported in the wreck.
