Last updated on Thursday, October 14, 2010

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Three members of an Indiana University bike team were struck by a car Wednesday on State Road 446.

19-year-old Eric Brodell suffered a serious leg injury and remains in critical condition.

The other two men are in good condition.

All three are members of the cutters bicycle team.

Police say the driver appeared to be going too fast for the wet roads.

They were conditioning to race for the Little 500 this spring.
