18-Year-Old Arrested For Burglary

(BEDFORD, IN) - An 18-year-old Bedford man has been arrested for burglarizing businesses at night.

Police say that Joseph T. Devinney was booked into the Lawrence County Security Center on three counts of burglary, resisting arrest by fleeing and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

DeWees said several businesses and homes were burglarized, including Sipes Body Shop, Mikels Service Inc. and Grissom Radiator Shop.

The burglaries are punishable by two to eight years in prison.
