(LINTON, IN) - The City of Linton has become the latest city to ban the sale of a synthetic marijuana known as "Spice" on Monday.
"Spice," also known as K2, remains legal in Indiana and the herb is sometimes smoked as a marijuana substitute.
The vote won't prevent the presence of the drug within the city.
As a synthetic cannabinoid, the drug also does not show up on current drug tests.
The drug has not been fully tested on humans at this time and has sent several Indiana residents to the hospital.
