(UNDATED) - Hoosier farmers are facing dangerous, dry conditions as they continue harvest across the state.

A chance of rain in the forecast this week will likely have little effect.

The three-month forecast in Indiana offers no relief with higher than normal temperatures and below normal rainfall.

Authorities are reminding farmers that combines are especially vulnerable to fires because of the many hours they operate and the dry crop fodder that can collect on them.
