Woman Pulled From Bed, Beaten In Street

(BLOOMFIELD, IN) - A Bloomfield man was arrested early Sunday morning for dragging a woman from her bed and beating her.

49-year-old James D. Dove was arrested after police received a 911 call.

When officers arrived at the residence, they learned that the woman had been beaten and strangled.

The victim, which turns out to be married to James Dove says she was staying with her father due to obvious marital problems in the relationship.

Dove was taken into custody and transported to the Greene County Jail.
