(HIGHLAND, Ill) - Authorities say two Indiana residents were killed in a fiery, chain-reaction wreck on Interstate 70 in southwestern Illinois.

Illinois State Police say 52-year-old Jerald Jaynes of Seymour and 23-year-old William Burleson of Greensburg were traveling in a tractor trailer when the two approached backed up traffic due to another wreck.

Jaynes' tractor-trailer hit a stopped semi rig, causing a chain-reaction involving two more vehicles.

The semi caught fire killing both men.
