Restraining Order Not Intended To Keep Trustee From Doing Job

(BEDFORD, IN) - Temporary restraining orders placed against April Eagan-Dorsett, Peggy Dorsett and Randy Dorsett does not include keeping Peggy Dorsett away from the money she oversees in her duties as Shawswick Township trustee.

A criminal charge was filed against April Eagan-Dorsett, the daughter-in-law of Peggy Dorsett on July 27th.

Eagan-Dorsett is currently awaiting trial on November 9th.

According to the Indiana Attorney General's Office, the temporary restraining orders are directed at the defendants' personal assets and are intended to prevent them from transferring, concealing or hiding their assets.

Eagan-Dorsett has admitted to stealing $53,000 from the Shawswick Township Trustee office between 2008 and 2009.
