Pet Owners Cut Off From Spay/Neuter Financial Assistance

Last updated on Tuesday, August 17, 2010

A huge demand for low cost spay/neuter services has led a local group to suspend its financial assistance programs.

Spay-Neuter Services of Indiana (SNSI) says the combination of high demand and shrinking donations is forcing it to stop offering financial assistance to pet owners.

The organization has reportedly spent over $163,000 in spay/neuter surgeries over the past 12 months.
