Jasper Man Escapes Crash Landing Uninjured

(JASPER, IN) - A Jasper pilot left the scene of a crash landing over the weekend.

58-year-old Robert Ehrnard's plane's engine near the Huntingburg airport.

Officials say that Ehrhard had just taken off when the engine of the plane sputtered and died.

He landed the plane in a bean field southwest of the airport.

Airport manager Travis McQueen, the FAA, and Indiana State Police were all notified of the emergency landing.
