(MOORESVILLE, IN) - A Mooresville couple faces neglect charges after their 2-month-old daughter rolled into scolding hot water.
19-year-old Kaitlin Moore tells police she had noticed the bath water was too hot, but the baby accidentally rolled into it.
Investigators say Moore and the child's father Justin Weber tried to treat the burns at home, fearing what might happen if investigators got involved.
The Department of Child Services had already been to the couple's apartment once.
In addition to the burns, the baby has several fractured bones.
