Man Arrested In Stuckey Murder

(CRAWFORDSVILLE, IN) - Police have arrested a suspect in the death of a Crawfordsville woman.

37-year-old Robert Shute of Lafayette is accused in the death of Brenda Stuckey.

The 62-year-old woman was found in her home just after 8:00AM on July 26th by her daughter.

An autopsy revealed Stuckey died from blunt force trauma to the head.

Investigators say Stuckey had rented Shute an apartment at one time.
