Last updated on Thursday, July 15, 2010

(BEDFORD, IN) - A pit bull remains quarantined after biting a man on the leg in Springville.

Authorities say that the attack occurred early Monday morning.

The dog was quarantined because he had not had a rabies shot.

The owner of the dog, Mary K. Jones was cited for harboring a non-immunized dog.

The dog became loose and ran into the neighbor's yard where it began to fight with the neighbor's dog.

The owner of the second dog attempted to get her dog inside the house.

The pit bull followed the woman and began attacking a man inside the house.
