(BEDFORD, IN) - One person was injured in a car wreck near Peerless Road in Lawrence County.
Police say that 19-year-old Brianna M. Rose suffered chest injuries in the Sunday afternoon crash.
19-year-old Jason K. Eads told police that he was driving on east Harold Smith Road, near Peerless Road, when he encountered a red Dodge truck immediately after going through the 90-degree curve.
To avoid hitting the truck, he swerved off of the road, hitting a tree.
Evidence found inside of the car indicated the possible use of controlled substance by Eads.
